Blueberry syrup ladled over hot blueberry pancakes is a breakfast that’s hard to beat. Preserved refrigerated in an attractive bottle or jar, the syrup makes a nice holiday gift, too.

Why Try? Made with fresh blueberries and real maple syrup, it can be used as a topping over waffles, French toast…even ice cream.

Blueberries are a super food, loaded with disease-fighting antioxidants.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 1 cup maple syrup

Preparation

  • 1 To prepare blueberry syrup, combine maple syrup and 1 cup blueberries in heavy medium saucepan over medium heat for 10 minutes.
