A Dining in the Dark event was held recently in Milwaukee to raise funds for a local Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired Children. The event also gave diners a taste of what it’s like to be blind. They were blindfolded throughout the 4-course meal.
Chefs for Kids, Inc. is a joint venture of the Las Vegas chapter of the ACF and the University of Nevada Cooperative Extension. The program was established to help eliminate malnutrition and hunger through education and awareness.
