The Arizona State Fair in Phoenix is known for breaking records when it comes to Fair Food consumption, especially items that are deep fried and on-a-stick. Although our Fair series is coming to an end, we couldn’t resist showing you a couple of photos in case you are ready to put away all food inhibitions and dig in!
This Fair obviously offers a pie eating contest (with a messiest face winner!), as well as cooking contests throughout the Fair. Other food-related highlights include:
â‹… Uncle Kunkle’s Farm – Kids can learn to plow, plant and tend to the chickens in this 19,000 sq ft educational exhibit featuring a day in the life of a farmer. The experience includes a fun mini tractor ride, orange picking, harvesting vegetables, collecting eggs and ‘milking’ a cow.
â‹… Sale of Champions – Children ages 9 to 19 auction off their prize-winning animals and learn about the business of agriculture and livestock.
⋅ Ghirardelli Chocolate Championship, Chocolate and the Fair – what a great combo!
