Ben and Jerry’s Ice Cream has announced a new flavor in honor of a music legend – this time, Elton John. “Goodbye Yellow Brickle Road” is said to contain chocolate ice cream, peanut butter cookie dough, butter brickle and white chocolate chip chunks. Like many of their flavors, it’s available for a limited time and, in this case, a limited place. Since it is meant to recognize John’s first concert in Vermont, it will be sold during the show and in the company’s Vermont stores, with proceeds going to the Elton John AIDS Foundation.
The company is also touting its “Imagine Whirled Peace” flavor, created in honor of the late John Lennon. While you are checking it out on their web site, you might also consider entering the company’s 30th birthday contest, at www.benjerry.com.
