Bennigan’s Grill & Tavern has rolled out a new core menu nationwide, featuring a section dedicated to its mini sandwiches.
The “Mini Bites” section features Burger Bites, Chicken Minis and new Buffalo Chicken Minis, made with crispy fried chicken tossed with buffalo sauce and served with lettuce and bleu cheese dressing.
Bennigan’s first introduced mini sandwiches in May 2006 with Burger Bites, four mini burgers topped with melted American cheese and Bennigan’s signature sauce. Guests quickly made the dish the second-most popular item on the menu. The strong reaction led to the creation of Chicken Minis, tiny sandwiches made from a whole chicken breast.
â€˜This menu features slightly fewer items and concentrates on customer favorites,â€™ said Jennifer Gamble, director of marketing for Bennigan’s. “We are also taking a cue from our guests by enhancing our mini sandwiches. Our Burger Bites started out strictly on the bar menu and were quickly added to our core menu.”
New entrees on the menu include Irish Ale Queso, Stacked Chicken, Buffalo Chicken Minis, Black & Bleu Burger, Angus Melt, Guinness Grill Fish & Chips and Ultimate Buffalo Chicken Salad.
The menu removes Bayou Chicken, Monterrey Chicken, Irish Pot Roast, BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger Pita, Peppercorn Blue Cheeseburger Pita, Oriental Chicken Salad, Abby’s Apple Sizzler, Chicken Stir Fry, Grilled Meatloaf, and Southwest Salmon.
