Who has time to marinate something for hours or even overnight? Who plans ahead that much these days?
Well, chalk one up to the Age of Instant Gratification. A new invention claims to cut marination time down to as little as five minutes.
The Instant Marinater is a 2 1/2 quart plastic container that marinates and tenderizes meat, fish, chicken and vegetables in a flash by creating a vacuum that opens up the pores and fibers of the meat or other foods, allowing for a deep and instant marinate.
The manufacturer claims this fast-forward process will add flavor and tenderize meat just like old-fashioned, time-consuming marination.
