Last fall there was a rumor going around that Paul was up to some wine making, and now there’s proof! Paul Newman has come out with his own Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon, vintage 2006.
In order to create the wines, Newman worked with the Rebel Wine Company. The wines are reportedly made from grapes in California’s coastal vineyards, including some in Napa, Sonoma and San Luis Obispo counties.
The bonus value is that purchase proceeds go to charity. Funds donated from the Newman’s Own Foundation are up to $200 million dollars and counting, all to a good cause…pretty impressive if you ask me! Here’s to supporting the local vineyard, to giving back to charitable causes, and to innovation.
