OK, this one’s still in the concept stage, but it may be coming soon to your kitchen. Well, depending on your demographic.
Targeted to those multitasking members of the iGeneration, the ‘Sook’ wireless kitchen assistant lets you stay connected to your Facebook or Myspace friends while preparing dinner. The high-tech gadget displays and shares recipes and uses a series of sensors to detect what food is kept nearby on its futuristic cutting board. It can weigh and measure ingredients and, yes, even ‘taste’ them with its ‘electronic tongue.’ Sook can analyze food ingredients to help you to build a recipe.
Put your favorite restaurant menu item near Sook and it will reveal its secret ingredients to you—which you could instantly share with your Facebook friends.
Designed by Adam Brodowski, a student at the Savannah College of Art and Design, the amazing Sook is waterproof and can be washed like normal kitchen utensils.
Sook was a recent feature on Tuvie.com, a website dedicated to discussion of future technology and design.
