People who are trying to go green may want to take note of some new reusable sandwich and snack bags now on the market.
Touted as the eco-friendly alternative to regular plastic bags, the Fresh Snack Pack bags come in two sizes—sandwich and snack—and are made from PVC-free, non-toxic plastic. They offer an easy-to-open Velcro closure and can be unfolded for use as placemats or plates.
Fresh Snack Packs were invented by Crystal Figlietti, a mother of three who wanted to send her kids off to school with freshly-made sandwiches packed in eco-friendlier containers.
The sandwich size packs are $5.50 each, and the snack size is priced at $4.50.
