Corona Beach House Miami Opens at Miami International Airport

By

Grupo Modelo and Crown Imports has announced the opening of the Corona Beach House Miami, a new Corona-themed restaurant in the American Airlines terminal at Miami International Airport. There will be a celebration involving company officials on May 5 to officially kick off the restaurant.

The Corona Beach House Miami is designed to help guests feel like they are beachside in the sunny outdoors while they enjoy a fabulous array of Mexican food and Corona beer. The décor features petrified palm trees, a mosaic glass tile ceiling, and huge ocean and beach lighted wall signs throughout the restaurant.

On May 5, there will be a Cinco de Mayo celebration at the restaurant featuring a mariachi band and remarks by officials from Grupo Modelo, Crown Imports and Caribbean Airport Cuisine, Inc. to formally open the restaurant and celebrate in a truly festive style on one of Mexico’s signature holidays.

‘We couldn’t think of a better way to showcase the Corona lifestyle than by opening a restaurant in the Miami airport that exemplifies everything we stand for and everything our customers have come to expect from Corona,’ said John Utter, Vice President of On-Premise for Crown Imports. ‘With all of the hassle that can sometimes come with traveling, we wanted to create a place where our guests could experience the ultimate in relaxation and refreshment while still in the airport. This is the first of what we hope will be numerous locations of Corona Beach Houses in airports nationwide.’

The menu, designed by Chef Michael Jasa CEC, features Mexican cuisine including nachos, Corona Guadalajara rolls, Corona beer cheese soup, braised pork shank carnitas, burgers, sandwiches and daily specials. It also showcases Corona Extra, Corona Light, Modelo Especial, Negra Modelo, and Pacifico beer, as well as wine and signature cocktails.

The restaurant is owned and operated by Caribbean Airport Cuisine, Inc. ‘We’re excited to partner with Grupo Modelo and Crown Imports on this venture,’ said Adam Kanter, Senior Vice President of Caribbean Airport Cuisine, Inc. ‘The Corona brand is known throughout the world for its quality and the relaxation it encourages.’
