Food Channel Selected as Recipe Partner by Better Homes and Gardens Network

By

The Food Channel® has been chosen by the Better Homes and Gardens/Meredith Publishing Network as one of 14 select content partners to provide recipes for a new Meredith website called www.recipe.com.

The new site features quick recipes and meal ideas; aggregating content from what Meredith considers the top recipe sites on the web. The Food Channel will provide an ongoing stream of recipes tested by food editors and chefs from its culinary studios, in addition to 4-star food photography. Other recipe partners include Eating Well, Better Homes & Gardens, Family Circle, Midwest Living and Tyler Florence.

‘We’re extremely pleased to have been selected to provide content for recipes.com,’ said Kay Logsdon, editor of The Food Channel. ‘We are all about providing easy access to great recipes. Not to mention that it’s nice to have the quality of our content recognized by a company with the caliber of the Better Home and Gardens Network. By contributing our content to theirs, we provide the user with a high-quality experience that will keep them coming back for more. It’s a perfect complement to our site, offering die-hard recipe fans with a best-of-the-web recipe fix.’

“Time and again, consumers have told us they like recipe and meal ideas that come from leading, trusted brands, but they sometimes get frustrated having to visit numerous sites,” said Jeff Myers, Vice President/General Manager of Special Interest Media. “We provide a valuable customer service by making thousands of branded recipes, many of them professionally developed and tested, available in one destination at recipe.com.’

More than 20,000 recipes are already available on http://www.recipe.com from a number of contributors, including those for quick and easy chicken, low calorie dishes, and better-for-you items. Regular updates are available via Twitter by following http://www.twitter.com/recipedotcom.
