Local Ocean Seafoods Restaurant and Fish and Seafood Market on the Bayfront in Newport, Oregon is a truly original experience. “Market-style” dining with local fish displayed for sale,  chefs work in an open kitchen creating fantastic, fresh, grilled seafood dishes while diners look out
at Yaquina Bay and the fishing boats sailing in and out of the harbor.

Local Ocean Seafoods is a showcase of the best seafood the West Coast has to offer, with the majority of the product coming directly from the Newport docks. They work with over 50 local fishermen who supply Local Ocean with the freshest, highest quality product available anywhere. Dine at the restaurant, or shop for crab, shrimp, oysters or fish at the market.

My personal favorites are the fish tacos, made with the catch of the day and served with fennel slaw. Truly addictive.
