Well, that old S.O.B. (Sweet Ole Bob’s) Texas Chili took the top prize in our 2010 Munch Madness Recipe Tourney, edging the Mini Steak Sandwiches with Horseradish and Tomato for the Championship.

Sweet Ole Bob’s had quite a legacy going into the tourney as a family recipe that had been handed down and tweaked for generations—and for more than a century. It’s in the tradition of Texas Red chilis, containing no tomatoes, and it can be enjoyed with or without beans.
