Annie Chun’s Launches Vegetarian Appetizers

Annie Chun’s, Inc., a leading producer of healthy, all-natural, Pan-Asian foods, is introducing at the Winter Fancy Food Show two new vegetarian varieties it has added to its gourmet line of frozen appetizers: Organic Potstickers (Shiitake & Vegetable) and Mini Wontons (Spicy Vegetable). As with all of Annie Chun’s products, the new items are all-natural, with no MSG, preservatives or trans fats, and are ready in just seven minutes.

Organic Potstickers and Mini Wontons have been a huge success among Annie Chun’s fans since their launch last year, said Diana Wang, director of marketing at Annie Chun’s. “We’re pleased to expand the line by introducing these new delicious varieties that will reach an even broader audience of Asian food lovers who are looking for simple and healthy vegetarian options,” Wang said.

Annie Chun’s Organic Potstickers and Mini Wontons can be served as an appetizer, snack, or dropped into soup to create a hearty meal. They can be enjoyed plain or with a side of soy-vinegar dipping sauce.

Annie Chun’s Shiitake & Vegetable Organic Potstickers. These 100% Organic Potstickers are delicious dumplings steamed on one side and pan fried on the other, creating a crispy and tender texture in each bite. New Shiitake & Vegetable Organic Potstickers combine organic shiitake mushrooms, cabbage and onions to please vegetable lovers. The potstickers are also available in Chicken & Vegetable and Pork & Vegetable.

Annie Chun’s Spicy Vegetable Mini Wontons The Mini Wontons work as appetizers or side dishes, complementing any meal with bite-sized dumplings of rich flavor. New Spicy Vegetable Mini Wontons pack in the heat with bold taste. The Mini Wontons are also available in Pork & Ginger (pork, cabbage and ginger), Chicken & Garlic (GMO- and antibiotic-free chicken, cabbage and garlic), and Chicken & Cilantro (GMO- and antibiotic-free chicken, cabbage and cilantro).

Annie Chun’s is available in traditional grocery and natural specialty stores nationwide, including Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s, Target, Safeway, Kroger and Wal-Mart. For more information, visit
