Not to name drop, but…

The James Beard Foundation, a national non-profit organization based in New York City, is one of the most prestigious organizations in the field of culinary arts.

You can tell by the JBF statement of purpose that it’s the crème de la crème among these types of associations. “Celebrating, nurturing, and preserving America’s diverse culinary heritage and future.” The annual James Beard Awards are arguably the most coveted by food professionals. They’re often referred to as “the Oscars of Food.”

So it was with some pride that we noted The Food Channel’s Top Ten Breakfast Trends was featured on the James Beard Foundation’s “Delights & Prejudices” official blog this week.

We’re pretty sure the JBF put us in the “Delights” category.
