Kevin Zraly

He’s known as the “It” guy when it comes to wine. He knows wine, loves wine, and loves teaching what he knows. Kevin Zraly served as the Wine Director for Windows on the World in the World Trade Center, from 1976 until the events of September 11, 2001. While his life changed then, his knowledge was transferred into the Windows on the World Wine School, where he teaches more than 500 students per year. He is also the author of the Windows on the World Complete Wine Course, the Ultimate Wine Companion, Kevin Zraly’s American Wine Guide, and Kevin Zraly’s Wine Journal. On top of those accomplishments, Zraly is the recipient of the 2011 James Beard Foundation Lifetime Achievement Award. He talks with The Food Channel about how he got started . . . wine trends . . . and what he calls, “The Golden Age of Wine.”
