This week review site Yelp passed a new milestone as review number 20,000,000 was posted.
This infographic below provided by the site highlights some of the major events, facts and figures at Yelp, including:
- Yelp’s FIRST review: the who, what and how many words (four!)
- The most reviewed business on Yelp, as well as our more prolific yelper.
- And finally, for perspective, 6 million reviews total were written by yelpers in 2010 and more than 5 million reviews have been contributed by yelpers in the first 6 months of 2011 — meaning, almost the same amount of reviews written in all of 2010 have been written in the first 6 months of this year — making Yelp not only one of the biggest content sites out there, but the fastest growing.
