Amusement park food isn’t limited to corn dogs and funnel cake any more–at least not at Branson Missouri’s Silver Dollar City. At Buckshot Annie’s, diners can dig into a down-home dinner that’s prepared fresh in a giant cast-iron skillet. The “Family Feud” Succotash features sautéed corn, yellow squash, okra, peppers, onions and chicken. The Harvest Skillet is loaded with ham, green and yellow string beans, carrots and roasted redskin potatoes.
For dessert, head on over to Brown’s Candy Factory and watch the cooks make delicious candies from scratch. Handcrafted treats include brittles, clusters, fudge, hard candies and hand-dipped strawberries. And remember, if you wink at the cooks you might just score a free sample!
