This review of Raw Apple Cider Vinegar Shots is part of Food Channel Finds, our way of bringing information and opinion on some of the latest products to hit the market. These might be interesting food items seen as we walk a trade show, on a grocery store shelf, at food event or, often, from press releases—enticing us to put them to the test, to see how they deliver.

The emergence of apple cider vinegar shots is one we have been keeping an eye on, but until now it was more of a DIY, make-at-home, trend. When we received information and samples of 1 oz. individual serving-sized Raw Apple Cider Vinegar Shots from Vermont Village into The Food Channel, we had to take a deeper look.

Give It A Shot

We gathered our chefs, writers and insights team for a roundtable sampling and review of the Raw Apple Cider Vinegar Shots. Flavors sampled included Blueberries & Honey, Cranberries & Honey, Ginger & Honey, Turmeric & Honey, and original Apple Cider Vinegar. Not everyone had tried vinegar and were curious as to how the samples would taste.

All were pleasantly surprised! Blueberries and Honey was the collective favorite but truly all flavors were tasty and not in the least overwhelming. The taste was mild, but not overly sweet, with the perfect amount of apple cider vinegar to counteract the sweetness of the honey and flavor addition. One comment we heard from several on our team, is that they would try these especially because of their perceived health benefits associated with vinegar.

It’s Your Turn

Each flavor of Vinegar Shot is sold in a 12-pack of 1 oz. individual shots for $15.48 a pack. One of the best parts of this Food Channel Find is portability. It can be hard to maintain an active and healthy lifestyle when one is constantly on-the-go, and very few of us have only ourselves to look after, which can often make it harder to eat healthy.

Do yourself a favor and throw a Raw and Organic Apple Cider Vinegar shot in your gym bag, backpack or purse!
