National Rosé Day is coming June 9. I learned during my research into the favorite beverages of the new Duchess of Sussex, that wine is a favorite, but in the summer, rosé is especially favored. Breaking the mold again, as for years, rosé was considered a “lesser than” when compared to a full red or even a white.
Now we’re breaking the mold by offering up some innovative cocktail recipes featuring rosé…vodka. Our friends at Three Olives® Vodka have introduced a rosé version that combines the fruity taste of a rosé wine with their signature, and notoriously smooth, vodka.
It’s perfect for sipping over ice or with a splash of club soda. A 30 percent ABV makes it mix-friendly when creating innovative, fun summer cocktails – from frosé (recipe below) to sangria to spritzers.
The brand plans a summer filled with events, both live and via social media, and is partnering with brand ambassador Busy Phillips, star of the rom com, “I Feel Pretty,” to showcase the versatility of the beverages that can be created for both day and evening occasions. For instance:
