Spiked Hazelnut Gingerbread Hot Cocoa
Ingredients
2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
2 tablespoons sugar
1 pinch salt
1 cup milk or cream
3 tablespoons gingerbread syrup
1 tablespoon Frangelico
Whipped cream and 2 tablespoons hazelnut spread (to top)
Instructions
In saucepan, heat milk until hot, do not let boil. Whisk in the coca, salt, sugar, milk and other ingredients until fully melted and creamy. Top with whipped cream and hazelnut spread.
Spiked Cinnamon Chai Lattes
Ingredients
2 tablespoons powdered sugar
1 teaspoon unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon chili powder
3 ounces hot coffee
2 ounces chocolate vodka
1 ounce Kahlua
1 ounce Baileys
Splash of Milk
Whipped cream for serving
Instructions
In your favorite coffee mug, stir together powdered sugar, cocoa powder, cinnamon and chili powder. Add in hot coffee, vodka, Kahlua and Baileys. Stir until dissolved. Stir in milk. Top with whipped cream and sprinkle with cinnamon.
Cranberry Mulled Wine
Ingredients
1-1/2 cups cranberry juice cocktail
1/2 cup sugar
2-4 cinnamon sticks
2-3 pieces star anise
3-4 cups dry red wine
1/2 cup fresh cranberries
Instructions
In a saucepan, combine the cranberry juice cocktail, sugar, cinnamon sticks and star anise. Simmer for 15-20 minutes. Add in the wine and cranberries and bring back to a simmer. Serve warm.
