Cheesy Shells and Green Beans

Green beans and mushrooms are healthy veggie additions to KRAFT shells and cheese. Top it off with crunchy French fried onions.

CREATIVE LEFTOVERS: Store remaining French fried onions in airtight container at room temperature. Sprinkle over a tossed salad for added flavor and crunch.

SPECIAL EXTRA: Garnish with fresh mushrooms and red pepper slivers.


  • 1 package (12 ounce) VELVEETA Shells & Cheese Dinner
  • 2 cups frozen cut green beans
  • 1 jar (4-1/2 ounce) sliced mushrooms, drained (optional)
  • 2/3 cup (1/2 of 2.8-ounce can) French fried onions


  • 1 PREPARE Dinner as directed on package, adding beans to the cooking water during the last 5 minutes of the Shell Macaroni cooking time.
  • 2 STIR in mushrooms.
  • 3 TOP with onions.
