- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
- 1 Combine chocolate chips and heavy cream in a microwave safe bowl. Microwave for 1 1/2 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds.
- 2 When completely melted and smooth, transfer mixture to a measuring cup or other "pourable" container for pouring over ice cream.
- 3 Best served warm but can also be served at room temperature.
