Chocolate Sorbet Recipe. Using both unsweetened cocoa and bittersweet or semisweet chocolate gives this sorbet an intense chocolate flavor. Because sorbet does not contain eggs or dairy products, the chocolate flavor here is particularly rich and bold. The addition of the espresso powder and coffee liqueur gives the sorbet a wonderful mocha taste.
