Here’s the story: Katherine and Andrés González sailed across the Pacific Ocean from Seattle to New Zealand on a 34-foot sailboat. Just the two of them.
While sailing in the northern Sea of Cortez, they found themselves far from any grocery store, but right on top of a bountiful harvest of fresh clams. Alongside fellow boaters, they collected fresh clams from the seabed in Bahía de Los Angeles in Baja California and turned them into a gorgeous clam pasta.
