
It’s New Year’s Day and it also happens to be National Bloody Mary Day. And we’ve got just the concoction for you! Our friends at Sweet Liberty Drinks & Supply Co. in Miami Beach are sharing their recipe for Grandma Sue’s Bloody Mary. Sweet Liberty was just ranked as #27 on the 2017 World’s 50 Best Bars List.
This flavorful, zesty cocktail was created by award-winning bartender John Lermayer and it’s the perfect companion for your New Year’s Day celebrations.

Ingredients
- 1.5 ounces vodka
- 3/4 ounce lime juice
- 3/4 ounce Malbec
- 3/4 ounce Grandma Sue's Secret Sauce (Onions, Cilantro, Sweet Pickle Juice, Celery, Dijon Mustard, Valentina Hot Sauce, Worchester Sauce, Celery Salt, Black Pepper, Sea Salt, blended)
- 3 ounces tomato juice
Preparation
- 1 Add ingredients to shaker, add ice and roll to cool and mix but not to break the ice or add too much water.
- 2 Pour over ice. Garnish with olives and lime. We also use Hawaiian Black salt rim and snap peas.
