This dish is quick and easy to prepare and is so fresh and full of flavor! Standard in Asia, smashing cucumbers produces more flavor and also allows the cucumber to absorb more of the flavors and seasonings in a dish.
- 1 pack baby cucumbers, or 1 cucumber cut into 5 pieces
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 1 teaspoon Maldon salt
- 1 Place everything in a plastic bag and bash with a rolling pin or meat hammer, just enough to break the cucumber
- 2 Place in the fridge until ice cold and serve.
