Kir Royale Recipe

Kir Royale Recipe. Kir is a drink made from white wine embellished with a touch of creme de cassis, a black currant-flavored liqueur. When the drink is prepared with Champagne, it is called kir royale.

  • 5 fluid ounces chilled Champagne or sparkling wine
  • 2 teaspoons crème de cassis
  • 1 lemon twist for garnish


  • 1 Pour the Champagne and crème de cassis into a Champagne flute and stir briefly.
  • 2 Garnish with the lemon twist. Serves 1.
