
Kir Royale Recipe. Kir is a drink made from white wine embellished with a touch of creme de cassis, a black currant-flavored liqueur. When the drink is prepared with Champagne, it is called kir royale.

Ingredients
- 5 fluid ounces chilled Champagne or sparkling wine
- 2 teaspoons crème de cassis
- 1 lemon twist for garnish
Preparation
- 1 Pour the Champagne and crème de cassis into a Champagne flute and stir briefly.
- 2 Garnish with the lemon twist. Serves 1.
