
Mississippi Mud Cake Recipe. This is a rich and delicious dark chocolate cake.

Ingredients
- 2 sticks butter
- 2 cups sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup flake cocount
- sweetened 1 1/2 cups flour
- 2 tablespoons cocoa
- 1/2 cup chopped pean pieces
- TOPPING: 1 jar (7 ounces) marshmallow crème
- ICING: 1/2 cup cocoa
- 1 stick butter
- 1 box powdered sugar (16 ounces)
- 1 can (14 ounces) condensed milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Preparation
- 1 Mix all the wet ingredients together and then gradually add all the dry ingredients.
- 2 Bake at 350ºF for 35-40 minutes.
- 3 Remove from the oven and immediately spread marshmallow crème over the hot cake. (Let it set on top and warm a bit, then spread.)
- 4 Immediately layer on the chocolate icing.
- 5 You can also bake this in a jellyroll pan. Your baking time will greatly decrease.
- 6 Stir together before the cake comes out of the oven. Ice while the cake is still warm.
