- 4 cups fresh basil leaves
- 1/3 cup pine nuts
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 Add basil leaves, pine nuts & garlic to food processor and process. With motor running, slowly add stream of olive oil forming paste.
- 2 Scrape down sides of the bowl, add the cheese and process until smooth. Transfer to a bowl; add salt to taste and store refrigerated in sealed jars.
