Ingredients

  • 1 fully cooked ham (about 10 pounds)
  • 4 cups apple cider
  • teaspoons dry mustard
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon allspice
  • dash nutmeg
  • 1 cup golden raisins

Steps

Place ham in crock pot (4 quart) cut side down. Pour cider over ham. Add remaining ingredients. Cover and cook for 6-8 hours.

For the gravy: Remove 2 cups juice and most of the raisins from crockpot, place in sauce pan. Add a cup milk or water to thin it out. Bring to a boil. Add 4 tablespoons flour and 4 tablespoons water (premixed) stirring constantly. Reduce heat, continue stirring until thickened.
