
Slow cooked ham with cider and raisins – a favorite of this food blogger.

Ingredients
- 1 fully cooked ham (about 10 pounds)
- 4 cups apple cider
- 2 teaspoons dry mustard
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/4 teaspoon allspice
- dash nutmeg
- 1 cup golden raisins
Preparation
- 1 Place ham in crock pot (4 quart) cut side down. Pour cider over ham. Add remaining ingredients. Cover and cook for 6-8 hours.
- 2 For the gravy: Remove 2 cups juice and most of the raisins from crockpot, place in sauce pan. Add a cup milk or water to thin it out. Bring to a boil. Add 4 tablespoons flour and 4 tablespoons water (premixed) stirring constantly. Reduce heat, continue stirring until thickened.
