Ingredients

  • 1 can (12-ounce) SPAM® Lite
  • cup prepared barbecue sauce
  • 6 hamburger buns, split and toasted
  • 6 slices (3/4-ounce each) Mozzarella cheese
  • 1 medium onion, sliced

Steps

Grate SPAM® Classic into medium saucepan, over medium-low heat.

Stir in barbecue sauce. Cook 5 to 7 minutes or until hot, stirring frequently.

Place meat mixture into buns. Top with cheese and onion. Serve immediately.
