90 Second Walnut Tarragon Green Beans

90 Second Walnut Tarragon Green Beans

Are you tired of plain old green beans?  Watch as Chef Cari with The Food Channel demonstrates a simple recipe to dress them up into a great dish: Walnut Tarragon Green Beans.

Start by trimming fresh green beans.

Toast about a cup and a half of walnut pieces in a small skillet and then set them aside.

Now it’s time to cook the beans. In a large stockpot, add enough salt so that it tastes like the ocean!  Then, bring the water to a boil, add the green beans and cook for about 3 minutes, or until they are tender to the bite; then drain.

Drizzle the beans with walnut oil, add the chopped fresh tarragon and toasted walnuts (you may want to reserve some for a garnish).

Mix this up well, then season to taste with some kosher salt and give them a final mix.  Now they’re ready to serve–beautiful!

This recipe is so simple and perfect for large gatherings!

Now get in the kitchen!
