Watch as Chef Cari shows us how to make scones. You know scones come in many different flavors, and she’s making these with cheddar cheese and chives. Come on!

Start by placing all dry ingredients in the food processor. Then, pulse in cold butter until the ingredients form into crumbs.
Next, pulse in the egg and egg yolk. Add milk, heavy cream, then finally the cheddar cheese and chives. Give it a few more pulses.
Now place flour on a clean counter top, and a little on your hands. Empty the dough from the food processor and knead it using the heel of your hands. Knead it approximately ten times.
Now using a floured rolling pin, roll the dough to about ½” thick. With a round cookie or biscuit cutter, cut your scones and place them on a baking pan lined with parchment paper.
Finally, brush the top of the scones with reserved cream and bake for about 20-25 minutes or until they are golden brown
So there you go! A warm cheesy scone, that’s an unexpected welcome addition to any meal!
