One of America’s most popular German imports, Beck’s Beer, is celebrating Oktoberfest by offering customers a chance to win an 8-day, 7-night ‘Trip to Deutschland.’ Winner may choose from four German destinations: Bonn, Berlin, Frankfurt or Munich. Sweepstakes ends December 31, 2008.
Next fall would be a great time to go, to catch the granddaddy of all Oktoberfest celebrations in Munich, where the first such event was held in 1810. Some six million people attend the event each year, which begins in late September and continues for 16 days.
