Atlanta-based chicken restaurant chain Chick-fil-A has announced the launch of its Cow Appreciation Day promotion that will give free sandwiches to customers who wear any type of cow-related apparel in the restaurant on July 11.
Customers who take their bovine-love one step further and enter the store as fully dressed cows get upgraded to a free combo meal.
“Cow Appreciation Day gives our customers the opportunity to have some fun as we reinforce the sustainability of our brand icon,” said Michael McCathren of Chick-fil-A’s interactive digital marketing group.
Chick-fil-A’s campaign will also comprise Cow Appreciation Day “event pages” in Facebook, as well as representation on blogs, forums, MySpace and e-mail promotions.
