If you’re planning to do your patriotic duty and vote today, you may want to stop by a Starbucks, a Krispy Kreme and a Ben & Jerry’s on your way back from the polls. All three are offering generous freebies to voters.
Starbucks says ‘Move over Joe the Plumber, we’ll give voters a free cup of Joe.’ The coffee house chain will give a free tall cup of brewed coffee today to anyone who says they’ve voted. That’s a value of $1.82 in Chicago, for one example.
Want a donut to go with that cup of Joe? Swing by your local Krispy Kreme. Just show them your ‘I voted’ sticker and they’ll hand over a free star-shaped donut with patriotic red-white-and-blue sprinkles.
And for dessert, voters can cash in with a free scoop of Ben & Jerry’s ice cream at any participating Ben & Jerry’s Scoop Shop tonight from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
So get out there and VOTE today, November 4. Do it for your party. Do it for your country. Do it for FREE coffee, donuts and ice cream. Just do it!
