Let Your Teabag Rest in Peace

By Cari Martens

Where do you stash your spent tea bag? Slumped over on the side of the saucer? (Assuming you have a saucer.) Do you simply leave it lying forlornly on the table in a puddle of its own fluid?

Well, designer Jonas Trampedach has a better idea. He has created the ‘Tea Bag Coffin.’ It’s an ingenious teacup and saucer combination with a recessed, teabag-shaped ‘coffin’ in the saucer for burial of the dead teabag beneath the teacup.

It’s a simple but elegant design discovered at cribcandy.com. Kudos to Mr. Trampedach.
