Chicago ad agency Leo Burnett has created ingenious signage for a local McDonald’s (across from Wrigley Field), which dramatically heralds the opening and closing of the restaurant’s breakfast hours.
p(left caption). During most of the day and into the night, it’s just one big egg.
p(left caption). In the pre-dawn hours, the shell begins to crack.
p(left caption). As breakfast hours begin, the egg starts to hatch.
p(left caption). The egg emerges sunny side up with the words, “Fresh Eggs Daily”
p(left caption). As breakfast hours end, the shell starts to close…
p(left caption). …and becomes a big, silent whole egg again till morning.
