Stocking Stuffer for Gals: Chocolate Pills

By Cari Martens

UK Online retailer Prezzybox has put a humorous new spin on a box of chocolates, pointedly targeted as a gift idea for those of the feminine persuasion.

Prezzybox has positioned its Doctor Indulgence Chocolate Pills as a kind of sweet all-purpose prescription for female anxiety syndrome. They come in a box that resembles a first aid kit, with the chocolate ‘pills’ encased in a blister pack similar to many prescription meds. Prezzybox says they’ll soon become one of a girl’s most important ‘handbag essentials.’

Their marketing pitch calls the chocolate pills ‘a must-have gift for all girls who suffer from one of the following conditions”:

â‹… Irritating Boyfriend Syndrome.

â‹… Brad Pitt will never be my boyfriend awakening.

â‹… I’ve overdosed on sad girly flicks.

â‹… I’ve lost my favorite lip gloss.

â‹… That woman from work I hate is wearing the same top as me.

â‹… I DON’T KNOW WHY BUT I’M ANGRY disorder.

So, guys, if you’re needing one more stocking stuffer for that special someone in your life (or maybe an annoying sister), this could be just what you’ve been looking for. Cost: around $8 for a box of 30 pills.

We can’t guarantee she’ll appreciate the humor, but we suspect she’ll enjoy the chocolate.
