All you have to do to give back is drink the water. Tap water from your favorite restaurant, something most people take for granted, can help UNICEF provide clean, safe drinking water to children around the world. To address this situation, a nationwide effort has been launched called The Tap Project, a campaign that celebrates the clean and accessible tap water available as an every day privilege to millions. A dollar is such a small investment for such a huge problem.
The project is meant to help UNICEF provide safe drinking water to children around the world. It began on March 16 and runs through Saturday, March 22, and participating restaurants will invite their customers to donate a minimum of $1 for the tap water they would normally get for free. For every dollar raised, a child will have clean drinking water for 40 days.
