Wine tastings are put under the microscope with this trend – wine samples in test tubes, perfect for sampling. Up until now, it required a restaurant or winery visit to try before you buy. This product, by WineSide, allows you to sample a small portion (or was that potion?).
The wines are said to be available in both sweet and classic wines and are available in glass tubes with tops that screw on. The product is not widely available yet but who knows, it may be coming soon to a laboratory near you.
According to Trendhunterâ„¢ Magazine, “WineSide offers both sweet and classic wines in patented, flat-base glass tubes with screw tops carefully engineered to protect the flavours of the wine.” The wines include Sauternes, Muscat, Pomerol, Chateau Neuf du Pape and more. Tubes can be chosen by variety, year or region.
