Beverage Claims to "Make Healthy Sexy"

By Cari Martens

Healthy foods and beverages aren’t typically thought of as ‘sexy.’ Spinach, carrots, broccoli…good for you? Yes. Sexy? No.

So now a new beverage aims to ‘bring sexy back’ as Justin Timberlake might say. The new drink is called Fever, and its makers describe it as a ‘wellness and stimulation beverage.’ They insist that it’s NOT an energy drink. The marketers’ catchphrase for the product is “Making Healthy Sexy.”

Fever is a 100% all-natural, non-carbonated beverage that claims to offer numerous health benefits to enhance body wellness. It’s said to be a natural source of energy, offering a boost through green tea caffeine. Fever is rich in antioxidants and acts as a detoxifying beverage. Plus, (here’s the kicker) the makers of Fever claim that it ‘balances the central nervous system and enhances libido, providing an overall feeling of euphoria and pleasure.’

The beverage contains ingredients such as forcosamide, which is rich in antioxidants, a natural source of potassium and calcium, and ‘is shown to support healthy behaviors in conjunction with the reproductive system and intimacy for men and women,’ according to the manufacturer. Another ingredient, clavo huasca, from the tropical regions of South America, is widely regarded as a libido booster for both genders. Fever also contains damiana leaf, described as an ‘aphrodisiac-like plant…that provides positive effects…including sexual energy-enhancing properties.’

Wow. Where do we sign up?

Fever, the self-described world’s first stimulation beverage, is available in flavors such as kiwi + strawberry, pineapple + coconut, and mango + banana. For more information, you may visit the Fever web site.

We’re going to have to order some of this stuff and report back to you.
