A Bubba Bass Fish who sings from a plaque on the garage wall has helped garner more than 300,000 YouTube hits for McDonald’s in the last couple weeks, reports trade magazine Adweek.
It’s a pretty funny, if down and dirty, TV commercial promoting Mickey D’s Filet-o-Fish. The techno-driven music track and deadpan performances of the actors have made the spot a viral smash on the web.
McDonald’s traditionally ramps up the advertising for its fish sandwich during Lent, and often uses humor to promote it.
