Time Running Out to Enter LG's Cooking Competition

By

With only a few days remaining for America’s amateur chefs to submit their favorite home recipes – and with a world-class team of celebrity chefs behind the judging table – the pressure is on in the “Taste of Something Better” amateur cooking competition.

Bon Appétit Executive Chef Cat Cora, Bon Appétit Chef de Cuisine Jonathan Lindenauer and Top Chef’s Richard Blais have signed on to serve as judges at the LG Electronics ‘Taste of Something Better’ recipe contest and cooking competition finals taking place in the LG Kitchen at the Bon Appétit Supper Club & Café® on Sept. 25. The contest celebrates original recipes from amateur chefs across the nation, challenging top entrants to a cook-off at this annual epicurean event by submitting their recipe at http://www.lgcookbetter.com. Finalists will compete for an impressive array of prizes, as well as a spot in LG’s ‘Life Tastes Good’ global cooking competition taking place later this year in Bangkok, Thailand.

Deadline: August 31

To enter the contest, home chefs and cooking enthusiasts alike (no professional chefs) are asked to submit their favorite main entrée recipe by Aug. 31. The three finalists will compete at the ‘Taste of Something Better’ cook-off in New York, and the winning recipe will be selected by a panel of distinguished chefs including:
