Day 37:

10 days left. AGH.

Today, I witnessed first hand just how convincing advertising can be. I was watching TV as I normally do on Thursdays (NBC has a great line up), and an ad for Wendy’s fish sandwich came on. It was like clockwork. I watched the ad and was practically drooling over this panko-crusted fish sandwich. I’ve never had/nor craved a fish sandwich.

Tonight, I broke that pattern, and tried one from Wendy’s. Wow.

Everything about that sandwich was impressive, minus the huge bun. I removed the top bun and enjoyed it. The fish was tender and hot, the crust was crunchy and not soggy and the sauce was even tasty. If you haven’t tried one, do it. And thank you Wendy’s ad agency for making that fish look amazing.

Breakfast: Oatmeal
Lunch: Veggie Quesadilla from Qdoba
Dinner: Fish Sandwich from Wendy’s
