Day 40:

In case you haven’t noticed, the 40 days of Lent is really extended this year because of the way the calendar dates fall. So hang in there, Easter’s coming. One week from today I’ll be eating something meaty and I cannot wait.

I didn’t really eat anything too terribly interesting today. I went to dinner with friends and realized that the restaurant really didn’t have a lot of vegetarian options beyond salad and pasta. I ordered a spicy shrimp marinara, it was good, but I won’t get it again.

Have I mentioned that Easter is next Sunday? I am so excited. This has been quite the journey. I don’t think I could do this full time; props to those that do.

Breakfast: Eggs and toast
