Celebrate National PB&J Day

Friday, April 2nd, is when we, as a nation, pause to celebrate America’s all-time kid favorite sandwich. That’s right, it’s National Peanut Butter & Jelly Day. So wear your purple and brown proudly and serve your hungry kids a PB&J.

Whether you spread on chunky or smooth, whether you use classic grape or strawberry (or other) jelly, just do it with a little extra relish on this special day (we’re talking exuberance here, not the pickle kind).

The folks from Orrville, Ohio, suggest you take one of the easiest routes to a PB&J by packing your kid’s lunch box with a Smucker’s Uncrustables sandwich. These unique soft white or wheat bread sandwiches are filled with creamy peanut butter and delicious Smucker’s Grape Jelly, Strawberry Jam or Honey Spread. For a lower-fat option, Smucker’s Uncrustables sandwiches made with soy protein are also available.

As the name implies, these sandwiches are crust-free, the way most kids like them.

Smucker’s Uncrustables sandwiches deliver healthy options for kids without compromising on the taste that students love. They’re so simple to prepare—no assembly required; just thaw and serve. Individually wrapped for convenience, the round shape and sealed edges keep the good stuff from leaking out.

It’s almost your patriotic duty on National PB&J Day, don’t you think?
