The National Restaurant Association will host First Lady Michelle Obama at today’s fall meeting of the organization’s Board of Directors at the Hyatt Regency Washington on Capitol Hill.

Mrs. Obama’s “Let’s Move!” and “Chef’s Move to Schools” initiatives are likely to be at least part of the subject matter of her speech today. She has championed the cause of ending childhood obesity within a generation and has enlisted chefs to help by “adopting” schools and working to improve school lunch programs.
