We talked with Manuel Valdes of partner company Frontera Foods (yes, Rick Bayless) about their new line of consumer foods, such as soups and pizzas, available in many natural foods stores.
“They are American flavors with a contemporary bistro flair,” he says. “They are made with real, fresh ingredients—the types of dishes that we don’t typically make at home.”
Their goal: to make foods made with fresh ingredients more accessible.
